After spending a good amount of time outside, a cat is now enjoying the comfort and warmth of being back indoors, happily purring and snuggling up to its owner.
Mr. Waffles, a 10-year-old cat, was found in rough condition at Orange County Animal Care. His skin was crusty, his ears infected – signs that he had been living as a stray for quite some time. Despite his hardships, Mr. Waffles was friendly and loved to show off his contentment by letting his tongue hang out.
The shelter staff reached out to Friends for Life Rescue Network in hopes of finding Mr. Waffles a loving home. Jacqueline DeAmor, the president of the rescue network, quickly got to work arranging a foster home for the sweet cat. Thanks to the efforts of the rescue network, Mr. Waffles was given a chance at the good life he deserved. A fellow rescuer stepped up and took him in, giving him the love and care he needed.
After being discovered wandering the streets alone, the team at Friends for Life Rescue Network stepped in to help Mr. Waffles. They organized transportation to bring him to safety, only to find that he was suffering from several health issues like an eye infection, skin problems, ear polyps, and dental concerns. Despite his hardships, Mr. Waffles showed a heartwarming level of affection right away. Once settled in his new home, all he craved was love and cuddles from his new human friends.
